I received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Mercer University in 1998. In 2013, I received my Master's in Brain Based Teaching and Learning from Nova Southeastern University.

I have worked as an educator Douglas County since 1998. My experience has been in the first, second, fourth and fifth grades. I taught at Lithia Springs Elementary for six years and Bill Arp Elementary for ten. I joined the Dorsett family in 2014 as an Interrelated/Resource teacher.

I am originally from Texas but moved at an early age and grew up in College Park, Georgia. I have been married for close to 28 years and have three children. All of my children have been or are currently students of Douglas county schools. I enjoy taking photographs and just being surrounded by nature.
